PillowGrace is such a fabulous company! When I went to the Southern C Conference at Watercolor this past October I met the owner and founder Julie Rowland. She is a wife, mother and successful businesswoman. Her passion is people and love for God. At the conference I heard her speaking from the audience as she was explaining her business and why she started it. I thought, “I have to introduce myself to her, I want to share with her a similar experience I had.”
Her mission is to help people no matter what they are going through, to sleep well and “rest on the promises and scriptures of God”. At the time she started PillowGrace she told me she was experiencing a lot of anxiety. She was in a bible study and the speaker talked about physically laying your head on the scriptures and resting. Resting in HIS word. This moved Julie so much that she created PillowGrace; Rest Assured, Arise Restored.
I loved it! I told her that when my son was very young, he was having nightmares and we tried everything to help him relax at night and not be afraid. Then a friend shared with me how she wrote scripture on her child’s pillowcase. I thought it was a great idea, it made sense given our faith and I was willing to try anything. I ended up writing scripture in ugly black marker on a white pillowcase! Well, it was comforting for him and my son slept!
PillowGrace is such a great gift idea for the holidays or anytime. Many people have a hard time falling asleep or staying asleep. Unfortunately, there is something about the night that keeps us up. I think PillowGrace is a great gift idea for children, widows, parents, newlyweds or for a student going off to college! These pillowcases are made with high quality cottons and supple silks and can be customized. Much nicer than my pillowcase with black marker! This Christmas I bought several for my family and I am looking forward to giving them away. Sleep well!
