My Reason Why… Facing Fears and Following Dreams

Well, I think it is time to share with you my personal journey of overcoming my fears, following my dreams and how it relates to the name of my blog, A New Day Lifestyle.  I think most of our dreams start when we are children. Then somewhere along the way we allow life to take those dreams away from us.  My dream started as a little girl who looked through the fences at the beautiful majestic horses my grandfather owned.  I imagined myself riding them fast like the wind with my hair blowing back and a big smile on my face.

Unfortunately, I was never afforded the chance to take proper horse riding lessons and my dream of riding a horse quickly turned into a trembling fear of horses.  Years had went by and my personal journey of riding began to fade.

Don’t Be Embarrassed By The Flowers You Send!

Have you ever ordered flowers for a friend and were disappointed?  Eventually you would come face to face with them and start blushing because your expensive bouquet is filled with cheap flowers and filler greens!  You really wanted roses but you got carnations.  The amount you paid would ring in your ears and you would try to make excuses for the nice gesture you intended.  Well, I have some good news.  I recently had a friend introduce me to Farmgirl Flowers.

The list goes on and on! After years of many failed attempts I found this perfect recipe.

What Came First? The Chicken? Or The Egg?

Well, I am just as surprised as anyone that knows me, for some reason I wanted to have chickens.  I love fresh eggs, who doesn’t?  My first taste of them was years ago when my brother decided to have a chicken coop.  This was before it was “cool” and before urban farming really started to become a trend.  My family appreciated his venture and took advantage of the offerings.
